“Since the company’s launch in 1999, Dom Interiors has been offering its clientele an upscale and stylish selection of furnishings from some of the most well-respected and creative Italian makers and designers,” said Katherine Flaherty, vice president, Vornado | Merchandise Mart. “At LuxeHome, we attract designers, architects, custom home builders and homeowners from around the country who are looking for quality, variety and customization – all of which Dom Interiors provides.”
Highlights of what’s new from some of the notable lines carried at Dom Interiors at LuxeHome include:
From Rimadesio, known for its modular systems for living interiors that include sliding doors, walk-in closets and furnishings (new introductions below designed by Giuseppe Bavuso):
Sail: Sail is a modular system of freestanding lacquered glass units, designed to be diverse and functional, in the creation of single and double-sided sideboards, tables, drawer units and suspended wall compositions – both vertical and horizontal. The system consists of drawers and flap doors, completely covered by lacquered glass, and wooden open modules lacquered in Ecolorsystem finishing.
Manta Table: Aesthetic novelty and technological innovation combine for Manta, a modular table system. The round and boat-shaped tops are available in a wide range of materials and finishes, for instance, heat-treated oak, transparent or lacquered glass, and acrylic. Manta maintains its sleek design, while at the same time maximizing reliability. The modular structure is built using high pressure, die-casted aluminum.
Velaria Sliding Doors: Velaria are sliding doors interpreted with the utmost appreciation for geometrical design. They system is fitted with patented innovative technical solutions to guarantee customizable options, only with easy installation and exceptional reliability.
Cover Door System: Designed to meet the needs of contemporary interiors, the Cover system allows for perfectly tailored glass hinged doors, framed by aluminum and hiding cabinetry, whether for wardrobes or service areas. The internal equipment includes bases, shelves, clothes hanger bars and drawer units. All elements are fixed directly to the uprights, without visible screws, and the layout can be modified any time.
From Lema, a range of home furnishings with a strong tradition of craftsmanship:
Ligno Door System: Designed by Officinadesign Lema, Ligno stands out with doors in heat-treated oak or matte-lacquered in 40 colors. Customizable, Ligno may be adapted in height, width and depth, and is also available for corner solutions.
Fina Door System: Also designed by Officinadesign Lema, Fina doors are customizable in depth and feature a wide range of internal
equipment meant to offer multiple combinations for many needs; e.g., drawer units or display cases for trousers, belts and shoes, as well as shelf and hanging bar with built-in light.
Finally, from lighting specialist Davide Groppi, the recipient of several prestigious awards, including two prizes at the 23rd edition of ADI Compasso d’oro, considered the oldest and most prestigious design award:
Sampei: The architecturally striking Sampei floor lamp was designed using the ideals of all Davide Groppi lighting: simplicity, weightlessness, emotion and creative invention. Davide Groppi creations are never conceived as just lights or lamps. They come about through the company’s need to give life to something significant. Available for outdoor use, too.
Ovonelpiatto Suspension light: Ovonelpiatto creates a real multisensory experience, lighting intimate spaces and bringing life to the environs it brightens. Available in white matte finish.
